Fresh Cheese with Manuka Honey

If you haven't tried the Manuka Honey yet, now it's the time to do it! It has so many benefits for our health. I'll show you 2 simple and healthy ways to eat Manuka Honey with fresh cheese and either fresh fruits or dried fruits. Recipe 1

  • 50 gr Fresh Cheese

  • 1 tsp Manuka Honey

  • Lime zest

  • Fresh berries (red currant)


Recipe 2

  • 50 gr Fresh Cheese

  • 1 tsp Manuka Honey

  • Lemon zest

  • Dried fruits (cranberries, raisins)


Method

  1. Place de fresh cheese on a plate in the centre, either as one piece or you cam break it a bit

  2. Sprinkle Manuka honey on top of the cheese

  3. Grate fresh lemon or lime zest

  4. Add your favourite fruits, either fresh or dry

  5. Enjoy over breakfast or as a healthy dessert!


Notes

  • You can get even more creative and add mixed nuts on your plate (cashew, walnuts, hazelnuts)

  • If you do not have manuka honey you can use other regular honey for this recipe

  • You can add different types of fresh fruits, I had red currant
